Michael's story in the Delta started in 1962 as a child learning to water ski and eventually barefoot through the region's expansive waterways.  It continued with the founding and running of a an award winning ski school from 1983 to 1990.  In 1990 Michael and his growing family moved permanently to Discovery Bay where he currently resides.

In 2005 Michael became CEO of Keller Williams Realty East County, growing the upstart residential real estate branch to 120 agents through creative recruiting and a best in class training program.  In 2005 he co-founded Team Temby Properties under the Keller Williams flag.  Team Temby Properties has been the #1 Producing Team in the East Bay Market Center every year except one. 

In 2015 Michael choose to marry his real estate expertise with his intimate understanding of the region and the relationships he formed over his life as a member of the community.  He founded Delta Communities Consulting and was quickly hired by a partnership of Sun Cal Development, Dune Capital and Colony Capital (NYSE:CLNY), to manage the community outreach and marketing of the project.  DMB eventually assumed management of the project with Colony and Dune and elected to keep Michael in his role.  

In addition to running Team Temby Properties and Delta Communities Consulting, Michael is an active member of the community, most notably donating his time and voice as the Air Show Narrator for the Patriot's Jet Team.  He is also very active with the philanthropic arm of the Patriot's Jet Team, the Patriot's Jet Team Foundation, an organization that provides S.T.E.M. education to youths who might not otherwise have access to these programs.

In his time in the Delta Michael became a very accomplished barefoot water skier.  He is a 3 time Western US Barefoot Trick Champion, and still holds the World Record for Tandem Speed Barefooting of 99.33 miles per hour. He still barefoot skis weekly.  In his free time he also enjoys recreating on the Delta with his wife of 32 years, three daughters, one son, a son-in-law, and two grandchildren.
